Fall 2008 High School Counselor Letter

Dear Counselor/School Personnel,

The Kentucky Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (KASFAA) is happy to sponsor the 2008 Effective Instructional Leadership Training Program entitled "Avenues to Achievement." The free one-day workshop provides updates on college financial aid programs, the latest information from ACT and details on other important services for our Kentucky students.

This workshop is suitable for middle and secondary school counselors, superintendents, assistant principals and principals, vocational education and vocational rehabilitation counselors, and TRIO program counselors. Each participant will receive a certificate of attendance for six credit hours applicable toward Instructional Leadership Training requirements. Participants must be present for the entire workshop in order to earn a certificate. No partial credit will be given to persons unable to attend the workshop in its entirety. The workshop is offered in ten sessions throughout the state from November 5-18. See our website for a complete listing of workshop locations and dates.

To help with planning lunches, workshop materials, and meeting space, please fill out the online registration form. Registration is required for attendance, and the deadline for registration has been extended until November 20, 2008.
